Driving home yesterday through Wetherby just near the 'ask' bar last night a duck was on a mission to cause a car crash. It was like he wanted to become duck a l'orange. Cars were diving all around while this duck waddled across the road, got half way, taunted the drivers, and then turned back round after deciding it was far to dangerous. Honestly, it was quackers!
That was last night, this morning it all kicked off again. I filled my car up, and I was very pleased! The diesel at my local station was down to 139.9! I managed to fill up my car for less than £60. However as I walked over to the shop to pay I couldn't find my card. For a split second I thought I was going to jail and wouldn't be able to do my show this afternoon! However I then found it in my pocket. I almost became a villain!
Well I had a none stop weekend. First of all I want to show you my little gardening spot at the front of my house, of which I am very proud. I spent two hours clearing this bad boy of weeds after the winter. Yes, I know gardening isn't the coolest thing to be doing with my Saturday but I had to do it. It was a right ole' tip! Anyway, here is a picture, let me know what you think....
I was a bit cooler for the rest of the weekend. I went to host the 'Party In The Park' at valley gardens. It was great fun. I was mobbed by some teens all after shout outs, asked for autographs and tweeted throughout. I felt like Justin Beiber!
Hello to you if you went to it, and I hope you had fun! Here is the crowd from the day. If you spot yourself let me know.
Ok, so far this week I have managed to rip a stress cow toys ear off, slow everyone's internet connection down by uploading videos and offend the front lady of Stray Fm Karen. I am going to be lucky to make it to the end of the week!
That is why I have decided to make everyone a hot drink, because that is the kind of, generous, considerate, heart-warming soul I am. I made an epic round of 10 drinks, 8 teas, all with various sugars and strengths, 2 coffees, one with milk, one without, and a glass of water. You can see the proof below.
That is about as exciting as my life has been at the moment. Tea making and offending people. Living the dream!
Oh by the way, I am going to be at the Skipton waterway festival on Saturday, which I am really looking forward to, so see you then!
Another great weekend has been and gone. First of all big thank you to the staff of Darley Mill, who made Hayley (The Mrs) and me feel very welcome for the annual duck race. It was great, my only regret is not bringing my little niece, who would of loved it. Knowing her, she may of jumped in and grabbed the ducks!
Spent Saturday doing the family thing and made my way around the different members. I felt really bad because I hadn't seen my Nan and Grandad since the end of January. It was great to pop round and see them. As always my Nan got the biscuit tin out, full of chocolate that I didn't think still existed, like 'Time Out' bars.
Then it was on to my Mum and Dad's for tea and drinks. As always, great fun, and also I don't have to wash up, which is always a bonus! Plus my Mum is always very generous with the vodka.
Then Sunday morning it was off to Darley Mill. What a gorgeous mill shop. I took Hayley with me, and she loved it, so much she ended up buying things. Including a candle. Now normally I am not fussed about stuff like that, but this candle actually smells of strawberries. I might accidently eat it one day it smells that good!
We were welcomed with tea and biscuits and looked after through the day. Sadly I didn't win the duck race, but it was great fun watching them all come down the little river. Feel sorry for the person who has to fish all the ducks out for next year though!
I was back out running again this morning, I managed to do 4 miles as I am aiming to do a marathon run. I will post how I get on, but I have started an actually training regime, which in the first week includes running a total of 12 miles, and doing cross training as well. I will let you know how I get on!
Well what a great weekend I had. Very busy, and very exciting, well apart from when my hand bloated, but I will come to that little jewel in a moment.
I cannot believe that another weekend has gone already and a great way to spend it, in my opinion, is going to a wedding and that is just what I did. Now Hayley's (my wife) family is very large, and I have never met all of them. In fact the majority of my home town of Worksop is made up of the family. Hence why a sports centre hall was rented for just one half to fit into with 300 people coming for the evening event.
It was a good night, all the usual wedding lovelies. The rubbish DJ, (Not all of them are bad, but this guy was awful!) The buffet food, of which I ate my body weight, plus the most amazing profiterole cake, and the dodgy dancing.
It was actually a really good night, where I got to meet some of the family I have never met, and will most likely never see again. (It really is that big!) However the funniest moment of the night was when my little cousin-in-law decided to be a little stunt man and was running, then diving everywhere, including off of chairs, and tables. He was fine, he just dusted himself off and carried on!
Now the big red hand. As I was on driving duty on Saturday night I didn't get the chance to have a hangover, which is a good thing I suppose. However, the day started ok, but around 11am on Sunday I looked down at my hands and my right one had bloated to twice the size.
As you can imagine, this alarmed me a little bit, so much in fact I had to go outside and get some air as I was panicing that I was having deathly experience. I have never had a panic like that before, anyway I took my watch off that was on my wrist and within 20 minutes it had gone down.
Yes, it was my watch that had caused my hand to bloat. I know what you're thinking! How bizare! Anyway, all is fine now.
I have been to Follifoot school today to record my schools out, and I have a very special second clip to play as well. Also this morning i have been out to do some karate. You can see the video results soon.
