After writing yesterday's blog, I fully expected to gain weight this week. However, I am delighted to report...I have stayed the same at 13 stone 5!!! Despite a long weekend of indulgence at Wood Hall and out with my fiance for a lovely meal on Friday night, I am now back on track.
Three meals a day, aiming to drink three litres of water a day, and chucking in some gym visits too...it's all helping reduce my chest, waist and neck measurements, and I'm fitting into more of my old clothes again, which is fab!
This week's target is to lose a minimum of 2 pounds. I will keep you posted. I have to confess to eating fish n' chips for tea last night though. And half a Fat Rascal today. Our secret though...right?

What was your first Now album? Maybe you have the very first LP, which featured Phil Collins, Duran Duran, and Kajagoogoo amongst other gems!
My first one was Now 10, released in 1987. I used to play it non-stop on my favourite cassette player.
However, I have very fond memories of Now 17, and you can only imagine my excitement when I found it on sale for 99p on a popular auction website! This particular edition begins with one of my favourite Erasure songs (Blue Savannah), and includes hits from Phil Collins (again!), Beats International, Adamski, and Depeche Mode, to name just a few. Sir Cliff Richard even puts in an appearance!
I'd love to know which is your favourite ever Now. Or maybe you've never bought one! All I know is that I'll soon be having a loud in-car singalong to Strawberry Fields Forever (Candy Flip, if you don't remember this genius cover version). And although I love technology, there's still something quite cool about cassettes...in my world at least!

So it's Tuesday...and that means it's time to see Fee from Sure Slim at 3:30PM! I wanted to write something about my journey so far, which began with a weight of 14 stone 3. My aim was to get into my clothes again, as I'd been wearing the same few garments for months, and reach my goal weight of 12 stone by Christmas.
During the first week, I stuck rigidly to the plan and managed to drop half a stone in seven days! A lot of people ask me if Sure Slim involves eating real food (it does!), whether it's easy to stick to (it is!) and whether you have to give up everything you enjoy (you don't!). You essentially eat three lovely meals a day, drink tons of water...and lose weight.
By the beginning of November, I'd been following the plan for seven weeks, and lost a stone! I felt on top of the world. My chest, waist, and neck measurements had all dropped, and I was fitting into my favourite T-shirts again!
Now the tough bit, and the real reason I wanted to write this...I have had a two week wobble. Over the last fortnight, I have been rather too indulgent with naughty treats, and Stray FM's two day team outing to the gorgeous Wood Hall last Thursday & Friday included...a free bar!
I would just like to put on record that today is a new dawn. Even if I put on weight this afternoon, I commit to trying much harder over the next month. And if you see me, please don't offer me cake! Thank you x

Hey from Alex C! This is very exciting isn't it?! My first ever blog post...
I would just like to point out that I wasn't getting my nails done when this picture was taken!
Keep checking back for details of my Sureslim weekly weigh-ins, and my attempt to grow a fab festive moustache for 'Movember'!
