97.2 Stray FM partnered with the Royal Hall, Harrogate and Simply Beds, Ripon and launched the first ever Star Search - looking for the most talented people in the area... who knows, we may even find our very own Paul Potts!
The winner of 97.2 Stray FM’s Star Search will not go away with just an award; they will also receive a cash prize of £1,000 and the opportunity to perform live at the prestigious Royal Hall, Harrogate.
The Stray FM Star Search Final is Sunday 7th December at 6pm and probably the best FREE family night of entertainment you’re ever likely to get your hands on!

Every one has a talent...we were after people with many different skills from singing to dancing, juggling to performing magic tricks – both young and old whether a single act or part of a group!
OUR FINALISTS
Judges
There will be a team of judges to critique each performance:
- A key member from the Royal Hall/ Harrogate International Centre
- A representative from Simply Beds
- And three judges from the entertainment world.
- There will also be talent scouts in the audience, so you could even be performing to in front of the very person who could be signing you up as the next big thing!
If you’re lucky enough to be invited to one of our heats, you can bring friends and family for support. And if you don’t know anyone taking part, why not come down and show your support? It’ll be a fun and entertaining way to spend an evening and the Stray FM team will be happy to see you.
