All week, we've been profiling some of the people from our area taking part in the historic relay...

George Stocker, from Little Ribston near Wetherby, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in October 2008, undergoing 48 weeks of gruelling chemotherapy as part of his treatment.

Since then, on his own road to recovery, the 13-year-old has raised £50,000 for local cancer charity Candlelighters.

George carried the Olympic flame through Wetherby on Tuesday 19 June.
