Airline reveals "biggest ever" winter schedule

Ryanair - Tony Hallwood and Robin Kiely

6:30pm 15th February 2017

Ryanair is getting ready to launch new services from Leeds Bradford Airport.

Its winter schedule for 2017, which is being described as the "biggest ever", will include flights to Wroclaw in Poland and Murcia in Spain.

With the budget airline now offering 17 routes at Leeds Bradford, it says the extra services will help deliver 1.3 million customers per year and support 975 jobs locally.

Robin Kiely, from Ryanair, said: "We are also pleased to report record bookings on our Leeds Bradford summer 2017 schedule and customers can look forward to even lower fares, so there's never been a better time to book a low fare flight on Ryanair.

"We urge all customers who wish to book their holidays to do so now on the Ryanair.com website or mobile app, where they can avail of the lowest fare air travel to and from Leeds Bradford."

Tony Hallwood, Aviation Development Director at Leeds Bradford Airport, added: "Leeds Bradford Airport welcomes the continued growth of Ryanair capacity and a widening of the airline's route network for winter 2017.

"The introduction of Wroclaw, the largest city in Western Poland, is the airport's fourth Polish route and will be welcomed by both business and leisure travellers.

"Murcia will provide easy access to the Costa Calida being conveniently close to La Manga, Cartegena and to Torrevieja, favoured by overseas property owners."
