A major childhood cancer charity is backing support for a little girl from Knaresborough.
Neuroblastoma Alliance UK has been influential in helping the family of 2 year old Sadie Rose Clifford who suffers from the rare form of childhood cancer.
Along with fundraisers from across Harrogate, Knaresborough and beyond, they helped raise enough cash to send her to the USA for potentially life-saving treatment,
However, last week, Sadie relapsed with multiple tumours on her liver and chest cavity, leaving the family with two choices: either to try one last time in the US and incur extra costs, or to return to the UK where only palliative care is available.
Throughout Friday 27 January, Stray FM is suspending regular programming and marking 'Sadie Rose Day' with an appeal for listeners to donate cash to keep her in America.
You can find out all the details about how to donate on the family’s website.
