Disabled passengers who depend on the Fit 4 Health minibus operated by Knaresborough-based charity Yorkshire Yoga have launched an appeal for sponsorship.
The charity needs £3,000 a year to train volunteer drivers and to cover insurance and servicing.
It also needs money for the vehicle's hydraulic lift and specialist wheelchair equipment.
Laura Bissell, Chairman of Yorkshire Yoga, said: "We have a desperate need to raise this money by August 8th or else I'm afraid we may not be able to continue it.
"It would be a terrible shame for those disabled people who use the bus on a weekly basis or a twice weekly basis."
Harrogate company CNG has offered £1,000 in sponsorship and the Knaresborough Lions have pledged £500 to keep the service going.
Sponsors' logos will be displayed on the minibus and on the charity's website as a gesture of thanks.
