A planning application for seven 100m turbines has been submitted to Harrogate Borough Council by Kelda - Yorkshire Water's parent company.
The planned site is adjacent to Penny Pot Lane and just a short distance from an existing wind farm at Knabs Ridge.
Kelda has held two rounds of public consultations on the proposals over the last few months.
The company has also submitted scoping documents to the council for a further 17 turbines which could be built from Moor Park, near Beckwithshaw, across to Scargill Reservoir.
A consultation has not yet been held for the additional turbines.
