If you were to be stranded on a desert island, what would your three objects of choice be?
My 'Now That's What I Call Music' collection, a Kindle, and a good supply of bath bombs.
What is a word you probably say too often?
'Okey Dokey'/'OkiDoki' depending on how you spell it.
What was your first ever Facebook/twitter post?
My first tweet read, 'Halfway through Drivetime on 97.2 Stray FM'. I have no idea about my first Facebook post, but it probably involved food or 80's music.
What is the most shameful/embarrassing moment of your life to date?
Several clumsy 'falling over' incidents, including a recent one in a bike shop in Tadcaster, which resulted in the biggest bruise I've ever seen.
Do you have a life ambition, and if so, what is it?
To live a long and happy life, and make my wife and close friends happy too!
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight. Anything but Chris de Burgh's 'Lady In Red', please! That song makes me feel ill.

Sounds really corny, but the end to all racism would be a nice thing to witness.

A knitted jumper which was itchy and didn't fit, from my Aunty Gwen. And I didn't hide my dissappointment, I cried!

I love to think I'm a great singer, but I'm sure most of my friends would disagree.

I asked my mum to answer this one, and she said, "Very sociable, with a love of music and current affairs".
When growing up, who was your idol, and did you ever, or ever have the chance to, meet them?
This is so embarassing, but my idols were presenters like Pat Sharp, Kid Jensen, and Bruno Brookes. I did meet Bruno briefly at his huge house in Berkshire when I went on his 'Radio School' course in 1997. He was nice.
If you could be any fictional character, who would it be?
Bananaman. An underated superhero. And I love banana milkshakes.
