Most embarrassing moment? Having a small heart attack live on air during a breakfast show I was presenting in the 80’s!!!!! (I finished the show though!)

If you didn't work on the radio, what would you do? Work with wildlife

Hobbies: believe it or not...when I'm not at work I'm a Paranormal Investigator!!! and don’t laugh…but I'm into Trains, buses and wildlife, along with eating and traditional real ales!

The song you sing on karaoke: I don’t so karaoke…no one will let me near one, and when you hear me sing, you’ll know why!!!





Most worn item of clothing and why? My underpants, otherwise I find your jeans tend to chafe!





If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? The Lake District. It’s the best bit of the whole world (with some nice real ales too!)

Favourite Football Team: Hull City AFC...The Tigers!

Who would you like to spend a romantic meal with and why? The Boss, because I need a contract, and If I was quick, I could run off with the receipt and give it to my accountant!

What are the things in life that you like? Politeness, peace and quiet, countryside and old fashioned values

Do you have any pet hates? No. I love all my pets!

If you could only take three treasured possessions onto a desert island, what would they be? A photograph of my children, My dog, and a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc!

If you won the lottery, what would you spend the cash on? I would open a sanctuary for wild animals

Do you have any pets? Yes thanks…have you? (I breed cockatiels, and I have a pet seagull called Spike (just don’t ask ok?) as well as my Belgian Shepherds. (That’s a breed of dog by the way, not a bloke from Brussels with a flock of Swaledales!)

What's your motto for life? Make someone smile!!

What's your favourite word? For taste and decency reasons I am unable to answer this question as it’s not very nice, although very descriptive!

What's your proudest achievement so far? Winning the Sony Local Radio Personality of the Year award many centuries ago, and my two children.
