Amanda Cornforth

Welcome to Amanda's page. There'll be plenty of stuff appearing here over the next few weeks but in the meantime please feel free to drop Amanda a line or even find out a little bit more about her...

A few questions to Amanda...

If you weren't on't the radio what would you be doing instead?
I'd be a farmer, like the rest of my family.

Here's a chance to come clean. Is there anything you did as a kid that you wish to own up now?
No, I was mischievous but never good at getting away with it, I always admitted it and was too honest!!

If someone gave you a tenner right now what would you do with it?
Go out for dinner.

Who's the most famous person you've met?
Jenson Button and Sebastien Loeb.

Top bunk or bottom bunk?
Bottom, I'm scared of falling out of the top.

What's your first memory and how old were you?
I remember being sat in the middle seat of our Land Rover Defender with my mum and dad with my beige beaker and blanket going near Ingleby Greenhow and parking in the forest. I didn't know where we were going at the time but I've since found out, surprise surprise, it was to watch a rally... the Mintex Rally I think, I was about three or four.

So you end on up on Come Dine With Me...what dish would you cook to bag yourself the £1000?
I can't cook really, but I can do a nice Cottage Pie, does that count?

Eeek, your house is burning down, what's the thing you'd grab as you run out of the door?
Shoes.

You've just fallen into a vat of toxic waste, which superpower would like bestowed upon you?
Invisibility.

At the end of a long day doing this radio malarkey, what do you do to relax?
I go horse riding or sit and watch the television - I'm a soap fan!

Which would win in a fight, a polar bear or hippo? (The teacher would like to see your working!)
A polar bear? I'm not really sure why.

If you had to for the rest of your life, which would you give up, cheese or chocolate?
Easy... cheese, can't stand it!

Go on then, 6 billion people could read this so this is your stage, tell us a joke (no
pressure!)...

I genuinely can't think of one, how boring!
