Nick Hancock

Nick Hancock was born on 3rd June 1980. His mother has sadly never got her figure back. The number one that day was Theme from Mash: Suicide is Painless. Due to a problem with his umbilical cord Baby Nick nearly didn't make it. But even worse than that he has had to live all his life with one of those weird sticky outty belly buttons!

As a geeky youngster Nick caught the radio bug very early. He got his Now 12 vinyl and set up ‘Bedroom FM' where he was the Star DJ and Big Boss. The listenership was low but the programming was great. One highlight was a live outside broadcast from the kitchen while Nick's mum made fish fingers.

How things have changed...

Move forward about 20 years and here Nick is with a slightly bigger audience! But basically doing the job of his childhood dreams (aaaah!)

Nick is now happily married to the lovely Sarah. They have a dog, the very cute Sebastian and a cat, creatively named ‘Mog'. The cat and dog fight like cat and dog!

Nick likes lie ins, custard, books by Tony Parsons and anything on telly from Come Dine with Me to Question Time.

Nick doesn't like cold, dark mornings or avocado.
