Christmas is coming and we want your children to have the best experience ever.  That's why we've put together this list of great local 'Santa's Grottos.'

Piglets Christmas, York

A truly unforgettable Christmas experience awaits at Piglets Adventure Farm this festive season! Starting on the 26th November every day until the 24th December, don’t miss out book your tickets online today (online bookings only).

Check-in at Elf Airlines with our Elf-hostesses and look out for your name in lights on the live departure board. Arrive half an hour before your sleigh time so you can write a letter to Santa.

All aboard Santa’s Sleigh for a unique ride to his Woodland Village where you will be greeted by Mrs. Claus and taken to see Santa in his Grotto.  Unlock his amazing Toy Shop and choose a perfect present from a huge selection.

You’ll see our festive animals in the Nativity Scene and can enjoy a warm mince pie in Santa’s Tepee with a cosy warm log fire. Don’t forget to keep a look out for the Donkeys in the stable!

Mix a bag of reindeer food to take home for Rudolf and his reindeer friends. Leave your Christmas wish on the Wishing tree in Santa’s Tepee. The Animal Barn will be open and included in your ticket price so you will be able to extend your visit to feed and pet our animals. (Please note; the rest of the farm park is closed for health and safety due to the Winter weather).

We’ve even got something for grown-ups too in the Elf Airlines Sleigh Port, while the little ones enjoy the Victorian carousel and vintage car ride (small extra charges), adults can enjoy a delicious bratwurst, mulled wine or refreshing beer in the warm surroundings before or after your sleigh time.

Story Time With Santa At Flamingo Land

For fourteen selected days during November and December (those marked in red above), Santa and his elves will be turning The Coach House into their very own spectacular Grotto. At 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, all the good boys and girls will have the chance to enjoy a ten-minute seasonal story telling session with Santa. The entire experience will last around forty minutes. After story time, Santa and his elves will meet each child, providing the opportunity for a photograph with Santa besides his big chair. Every child will also receive an age and gender appropriate gift to take home for Christmas Day.

Story Time With Santa is available for just £10 per child, in addition to general admission. Spaces are limited to a maximum of 40 children per session, so please book your preferred date and time online today.

Parents or guardians will have access to the back of the Coach House Grotto at no additional cost throughout their chosen Story Time With Santa session, where refreshments will be available to purchase from the bar. Please note, accompanying adults are limited to two per family due to space restrictions.

Thorp Perrow Christmas Grotto

At Thorp Perrow Arboretum follow Eric the Elf's festive trail through the Arboretum to Santa's log cabin grotto, where the elves are on hand to guide you through a winter wonderland, filled with magical creatures, arctic animals and snowy Christmas scenes. Santa waits in his cosy living room, with a cheery smile and gift for every child.
