HOUSING & PROPERTY ALLOCATIONS OFFICER Post Number: HS03 Grade: D Salary: £19,945- £21,166 Hours: 37 per week Fixed Term for 12 months (possible extension for a further 12 months)

Based within the council’s Allocations Team at the Civic Centre, Harrogate, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive housing application assessment and allocations service to members of the public seeking rehousing in the Harrogate district.


You will be responsible for administration of the council’s Housing Waiting List, including carrying out home visits to applicants for rehousing and allocations within the district’s social housing stock.


You should be educated to GCSE level standard or equivalent, with previous experience of office administration. You should have an appreciation of allocations, nominations and void control procedures.


You should have a full clean driving licence and use of a vehicle, for which an appropriate allowance is payable.
