Benefits Admin Officer Post Number: FR145 Grade 4: Salary: GBP 16,781 - GBP 17,772 pro rata Hours: 29.5 per week

We are looking for a motivated Admin Officer to join our lively team.  You will work in a busy and challenging customer service environment, dealing with a variety of administration duties to help maintain the smoothand efficient running of our Welfare Services Team.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver support to officers involved in the assessment of Housing Benefit claims, Council Tax Reductions and wider welfare work.  The post involves a broad range of activities including data input, report checks, mail distribution and some customer contact via letter, email and telephone.

The post-holder will need a disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service; the Council will issue the application and pay for this.
