Do you have a person-centred approach to customer care and exceptional organisational skills? Are you passionate about assisting people with complex needs in difficult circumstances?
Based at the Civic Centre in Harrogate, we are looking for someone to support our Private Sector and Housing Options Team in assisting people with complex needs and providing tailored support under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
If you would like to provide frontline services for a team that identifies, devises and implements solutions for the difficulties faced by homeless households, we would love to hear from you. Our vibrant Housing Needs Team provides a service aimed at preventing or relieving homelessness.
You should have an appreciation of the circumstances that cause homelessness and have experience of dealing with members of the public sympathetically but firmly.
Experience of housing advice/support work and an understanding the welfare benefits framework are beneficial, however not essential.
