A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, customer focused Business Development Manager to join a fast growing, very reputable business, with two offices and growing.

Working alongside the Technical Team, you will be responsible for managing the accounts of business customers, providing value and quality of service. In addition, you will have new business leads provided by the marketing department and will self-generate opportunities to grow revenues by winning new accounts.

You will have the opportunity to progress and develop within the business as they continue to expand over the coming months and years.

Salary- £25,000 OTE circa £40,000 p/a.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Arranging and attending regular client care meetings
  • Regular client care calls
  • Preparing, submitting and following up quotations
  • Maintain the company CRM and operation systems for your work
  • Identify new business opportunities and prospects, setting up and attending meetings to promote the company product portfolio
  • Following up on leads generated by marketing campaigns
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential new clients
  • Working with the Directors, organise and assist in marketing activities, exhibitions as required
  • Manage the weekly sales meeting
  • Attend weekly sales and operations meetings as appropriate

Person specification:

  • B2B Sales or Account Management experience required
  • Target-orientated/Results-focused
  • Highly motivated, with a pro-active approach to workload
  • You must have a Full UK Driving License in order to travel to client sites.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and usage
  • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable.
  • Positive and enthusiastic.
  • IT literate
  • Well organised
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
