BeBaBo are looking for someone to help run Reception and look after the teams needs. This is a part time position of roughly 20hrs but this is flexible. Would include Thursday's Fridays and most Saturdays.

Responsible for the following:

Accurate booking & recording of client appointments.

Requesting & accuratley recording client contact details.

Distributuing appointment reminders on a timely basis.

Daily cashing up.

Handling telephone bookings & enquiries following the salons telephone answering protocol.

Rebooking clients at the close of their appointment.

Filling empty space in the appointment book.

Maintaining & updating retail displays.

Stock control, stock taking & processing deliveries.

Adhering to the salons customer service procedures.

Handling client complaints in accordance with the salon's complaints procedure.

Provide a professional, warm & friendly 'meet & greet' service to clients.


To attend salon training sessions when required.

To train appropriate satff in reception procedures & effective use of the computer system.

To keep abreast of new products, services & promotions.

To keep up to date with Data Protection & Health & Safety requirements.


To advise clients on all products & services available including associated pricing.

Ensuring comfort of clients in reception - offering refreshments, magazines & update on waiting time.

To give price-lists, brochures, in-salon magazine & any appropriate promotional information to clients.

To deliver the highest standard of attentive service to all clients at all times.

Business Development

To increase new client attraction & re-books

To maximise colums & fill empty space on the computerised appointment book.

Daily responsibility for selling space in columns.

To use creative, tempting marketing messages to fill gaps via social media, SMS, email.

To contact clients with notification of late availability appointments.

Daily responsibility for up-selling colour & treatments over the phone.

To maximise retail sales not closed by stylists & from walk-ins.

To ensure that the salon keeps regular contact with clients via social media, SMS & email.

To ensure that all clients details are recorded for future marketing purposes with their permission.

To regularly identify non-returning & lapsed clients.


Ensure personal appearance reflects the salon brand is in keeping with the required standards of dress code, hair & make-up.

Ensure that salon cleanlimess and hygiene is maintained in particular in reception and waiting areas.
