We’re delighted to be hosting a very special evening ahead of Fairtrade Fortnight on Tuesday 19 February.
Designed to highlight the importance of Fairtrade produce the evening, titled, ‘Playing Fair’ will feature a wonderful two course menu featuring Fairtrade produce & pre-dinner presentation from Joanne Pollard, Coordinator of Fairtrade Yorkshire.
We’re also thrilled to be joined by Coordinator of the Craven Development Education Centre and Fairtrade campaigner Liz Roodhouse, who will be hosting the evening. We’ll also be joined by a number of local businesses and ethical suppliers including our friends at Spear Travels to showcase their products.
Then, it’s over to our chefs who’ll be using a fabulous mix of Fairtrade ingredients to create a delicious two course dinner.
All guests will also receive a complimentary arrival drink and Fairtrade goody bag included in the ticket price of £19.95pp.
This one-of-a-kind event promises to be the perfect opportunity to discover the incredible impact of Fairtrade around the world, whilst also showcasing Skipton as a Fairtrade town.
The evening will commence at 1900 with our guest presenter taking the floor at 1930 & dinner being served at 2000.
