Flaming flower pots have pulled in the crowds in Harrogate's Valley Gardens.

They are part of an event called 'The Fire Garden' which is being staged to celebrate Harrogate International Festivals' 50th anniversary.

The display, which has been created by internationally-renowned French company Cie Carabosse, is also part of Yorkshire Festival 2016.

Sharon Canavar, Chief Executive of Harrogate International Festivals, said: "It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Valley Gardens is the most sumptuous and magical of settings. To set it ablaze with these installations promises an awe-inspiring atmosphere and an experience to remember."

The event is expected to attract up to 15,000 visitors over three nights.
