A Wetherby business has collaborated with experts to create the world's quietest space.

iKoustic Soundproofing has built an anechoic chamber, which is a room with no reflections from the walls, floor or ceiling.

It's ideal for testing different technologies, because the room doesn't affect the measurements.

The anechoic chamber can also be used for testing quiet products or people hearing quiet sounds.

Sam Toon, Soundproofing Consultant at iKoustic Soundproofing, told us a bit about the artist and exhibition their chamber is now in:

The chamber was designed and built with the help of a British artist and Imperial College London and the University of Greenwich.

It's also being now being used for psychological testing.
