This is the moment a driver's dangerous maneuver was caught on camera near Wetherby.

The footage shows a motorist defying an instruction to turn left at a junction close to Kirk Deighton.

Instead, the car turns right, straight into the path of another vehicle.

It was captured on a dash-cam by Gary Nickell-Lean, as he drove along Deighton Bank, towards the roundabout for the Wetherby by-pass.

The car is seen exiting the junction with Mark Lane.

The video was posted to the Harrogate Grumbler Facebook group, with one user commenting: "whoever was in that car needs to take their test again."
