Here's what happened when Nick Hancock went back to school in Ripon

Published at 11:37am 17th July 2018.

Day two of the 2018 End of Term Tour with Specsavers took Nick Hancock and the team to Moorside Infant & Junior Schools in Ripon.

Every morning this week Nick Hancock is taking his breakfast show on tour around Harrogate, Craven & Wharfedale to celebrate the final week of the school year.

Each day we'll be broadcasting LIVE from a primary school, and for Day 2 we headed to Moorside Infant and Junior Schools in Ripon.

Headteacher

Mrs Rowe is not just the Head of the school, she's a superhero! She's been acting head of both the Infants and Juniors during a busy year, so how ready was she for the end of term?

School News (and weather!)

We caught up on the latest news from Ripon at Moorside Infant and Junior Schools.

The £1000 Minute

As usual Nick hosted the One Thousand Pound Minute with Yorkshire Loft Ladders, but this time in the playground!

Mrs Taylor-Connor was put up for the test this time around, but could she win that grand? Have a watch of this to find out:

The Big Race - Stockeld Park Summer Adventure Tickets

As Specsavers are celebrating the launch of Jurassic World themed kids' frames, we had another round of Dinosaur Racing at Moorside Schools.

Mrs Burland was up against our very own Beth Parsons in a race of pre-historic proportions.

Would she win the whole of her Year 2 class a pair of tickets to the Stockeld Park Summer Adventure? Have a look:

Next Stop - Starbeck
