EXCLUSIVE: Emmerdale producer feels amazing to win NTA for third year running

The Harewood based soap scooped the big Best Serial Drama award at the National Television Awards last night.

  • The Yorkshire based soap Emmerdale beat off Coronation Street, Eastenders and Hollyoaks for the coveted prize.
  • The awards are chosen by viewers so Emmerdale is "the nation's favourite soap"
  • The cast were presented with the award at London's O2 Arena last night

Emmerdale, which is filmed in Harewood and Leeds, scooped the coveted Best Serial Drama at the National Television Awards in London last night.

The whole cast were thrilled to take to the stage and receive the award which has made its way back to Yorkshire this morning.
