When it comes to pensions - no one is above the law. You can't have missed all the adverts, letters and advice about setting up a pension for your company. With a £16,000 fine at stake, is it worth the risk to your business?

The Pensions Regulator is now naming and shaming employers that do not comply with their duties for long enough that a court order is necessary. This is in response to high levels of non-compliance between those that should have become compliant between Nov 2016 and Mar 2017.

In fact, since the Pensions Regulator began enforcement, over 14,000 companies have received fixed penalty notices, for either failing to get their house in order, or from making mistakes and not rectifying them.

Steve Conley, Managing Director at Workplace Pensions Direct, joined Stray FM's Business Hub to discuss the stories of two companies who have been successfully prosecuted by the Pensions Regulator, including a solicitors firm!

Workplace Pensions Direct offers guaranteed compliance and more for less than £1 per day, so there is no excuse to not get something done.
