If your business could be considered a technical or complicated one, ensuring your customers (especially new ones) understand how it works and what they are buying from you can be difficult. You don't want to let them down, and you don't want them to feel they're going in blind. So where you do you start?

Ikoustic do sound proofing, which is probably something you know little about. But if you decide you need something doing about noise levels in your domestic property, your workplace, a public place or a new build, you may suddenly find yourself in a position where you NEED to understand it.

So how do businesses such as Ikoustic try to make this as simple (and least patronising) as possible?

  • Keep your website clean, simple and up to date
  • Use strategic layouts which naturally follow a trail of thought (see the pictures for details on how Ikoustic keeps their systems as helpful as possible)
  • Be open and honest about customer experiences and reviews
  • Display diagrams and illustrations  - pictures can paint a thousand words
  • Encourage customer research prior to decision making
  • Always make person-to-person contact available to accompany online information - either by phone or face-to-face
  • Be transparent - honesty is always the best policy. This includes pricing and reviews.
