Customers of Booths in Ripon might recognise this man who helps everyone with drinks suggestions during their shop.

From advice on which wine might pair well with their dinner, to an experts guide on the vast gin selection, the staff at Booths could well be the friendliest supermarket team in the area

They offer regular tasting events and have plenty of expertise when it comes to choosing the right bottle and have Booths stores in the local area in Ripon and Ilkley

"We do a mulled gin, we do a toffee vodka, there are all sorts of little things that are maybe a bit 'out there' but go down well at Christmas. So it's finding out what people want, it's seeing what their favourite things are, and then giving them the opportunity to taste something which they haven't had before."

They also have a huge selection of craft beers and lagers including some impressive non-alcoholic versions for the non-drinkers or drivers.
