Harrogate office block to be turned into apartments
Published at 12:52pm 4th February 2019.
Plans to turn a Harrogate office block into apartments have been unveiled.
- Quattro Property Group are redeveloping the former Southfield office block site on Station Parade
- They want to turn it into 20 apartments
- Planning permission was granted in December 2018 and work's expected to finish in late 2019
Work is now underway to redevelop the former office building into 9 apartments whilst also creating an additional new apartment building.
Ellis House, which will be built within the site’s existing boundaries, will accommodate a further 11 apartments.
Richard Lumley, Chairman of Quattro Property Group, said:
"We are extremely excited to unveil our vision for what is undoubtedly one of the best development sites in Harrogate Town Centre. The Southfield residential scheme has been sensitively designed to breathe new life into this strategically located site whilst also uniting the development with the architecture of surrounding buildings to provide apartments of the highest standard.
"Safeguarding the future of sites such as this is of critical importance to the long-term sustainability of the town and we are looking forward to seeing the work progress on site."
