Musicians in Knaresborough are helping to raise money for the victims of the Manchester bombing.

A number of artists are performing for free at various venues in the town this weekend.

The event has been organised by Tim Riggs, who works at The Cross Keys.

He said: "I know people who've had family there, it's a wide-ranging thing and there were people there from all over the country.

"I lived in the Manchester area for over 25 years and I worked in the arena on several concerts, so it's quite close to my heart."

Five gigs will be taking place at different venues:

Friday 2 June

The Cross Keys - Becky Bowe - 6.30pm

Saturday 3 June

6 Poor Folk - Matt Mather (Barr Lane) - 2pm

The Orange Grove - 9Bar - 6pm

Sunday 4 June

The Mitre - Steph Baker - 5pm

The Royal Oak - The Raisers - 6pm
