Local home care company has been celebrating Elf Day to raise awareness of dementia with the Alzheimers Society. 

The annual Elf Day event, which is part of a national campaign, has been celebrated at the headquarters of Home Instead near Ripley

Staff dressed as elves, hosted a raffle and celebrated Christmas with community activity for elderly people in the Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk areas. 

Elf Day is an Alzheimers Society initiative aiming to raise awareness and knowledge of dementia, and how best to support those around us. 

£172 was raised by the team which will go to the Alzheimers Society.
