Iain Service - the community development manager at Harrogate Town FC 2

Working with partners, Iain from the football club based at the CNG Stadium on Wetherby Road in Harrogate discussed a few key areas of focus which you can hear more about in the audio below.

Following funding from the National League, Harrogate Town will be working with five local primary schools on numeracy, literacy and physical education.

Other charitable initiatives including spreading awareness and raising funds for a prostate cancer charity, and working alongside the local park run

How could you help Harrogate Town and the community?

  • Volunteer at the CNG Stadium on match days and help maintain the family friendly atmosphere.
  • Join the Harrogate Park Run in style by wearing the yellow and black of the club and help prevent social isolation.
  • Become a member of the Harrygator Family! A recent addition to the club has been Harry-Gator the mascot and he often needs a little help around the ground. Opportunities may be limited though... best be snappy.
