Worming and de-fleaing is common practive for pet owners, but there may be some things that you don't know about worms and fleas. Bob Partridge from The Vet Hospital has some advice and facts for you.

  • Toxacara worms can not only harm pets, but can seriously harm humans
  • Tape worms develops when pets swallow fleas
  • Lung worm is spread by snails
  • Test if your pet has fleas using a simple drop of water
  • Worryingly, for everyone 1 flea on your pet there are around 100 in your home
