When National children's charity Variety decided to support Autism Angels at the Yorkshire Property Awards held at Rudding Park in May 2017 the one thousand people who attended the event dug deep into their pockets to help local children and their families.

Based just outside of Harrogate between Sicklinghall and Kirkby Overblow, Autism Angels brings together children, their families and horses, enabling children with additional needs to experience the great Yorkshire outdoors. Beth Parsons from Stray FM's Health and Wellbeing Show talked to Lynn Westerman Holt and Sarah Shearman from the charity to find out more about what they do and what exciting plans the future holds.
