A Bollywood Extravaganza is coming to Harrogate.

It's all in aid of Henshaws Society for Blind People and Arch Resolution.

The Mayor of Harrogate Borough Councillor Anne Jones, is presenting the event alongside Nick Rahman.

The event features entertainment from DJ Evellance and Professional Dance Team, Desi Nach.

Councillor Anne Jones visited us at Stray FM: "I think most Mayors try to do some fundraising, and that's exactly what I'm going to do and I do tend to like unique events.

Harrogate Mayor Anne Jones

"I've always been attracted to the Bollywood movies, I love the vibrancy of them, they're a feel good kind of movie.

"They're colourful, they up-lift you, so I'm hoping people will have a really fun night and have that feel good factor as they go home and get ready for the weekend.

"I'd just be so happy to see everyone support and turn up to this event."
