There's an endless list of things that children can get involved in at the weekend, but for three parents it was acting, singing and dancing that sparked something in their children.

The Pauline Quirke Academy in Harrogate runs every Saturday morning and afternoon and brings children from age 4 to 18 together to perform in musicals, plays and films. But what was it that the parents in particular liked?

  • Increased confidence
  • Make new friends
  • Preparation for a life in show business
  • Unforgettable experiences and trips
  • Three hour long classes on Saturdays

Beth Parsons heard from some parents of children who go to the Pauline Quirke Academy Harrogate Gill Eastwood mum of 16 year old Nicole, Katie Eve mum of 8 year old Freddy and Phil Godkin dad of Kalim.
