Used as the set for ITV drama Victoria, Harewood House is proud to be opening it's doors for the first time in five years during the Christmas season.

Complete with traditionally decorated Christmas trees, a selection of genuine Victorian toys from the Ilkley Toy Museum and a feeling of having just walked into a real family scene from the 18th century, it's taken months of preparation, planning and implementation to create Harewood House at Christmas for 2018

With a primetime Sunday evening slot and starring Jenna Coleman, Tom Hughes and Rufus Sewell, ITV's Victoria drew in almost 5 million viewers, beating Poldark! And Harewood House formed a large part of the set both indoors and outdoors.

It was the incredible set design of award winning Michael Howell that inspired Harewood House at Christmas, and with his help it has been transformed into what appears to be a traditional Victoria Christmas day as if the family has just left  the room.

The Christmas experience at Harewood House is open everyday until December 31st 2017 except 24th, 25th and 26th December.
