Would you like to spend more time with your grandchildren? Harrogate Family lawyers  No 1 Solicitors have some advice for grandparents who want more child contact.

There are a number of reasons why grandparents might not see their grandchildren as often as they'd like, such as relocation, a fall out with the child's parents or divorce.

Grandparents with grandchildrenThere aren't actually any rights in place legally for grandparents to have access to their grandchildren which can often mislead people to believe there is nothing that can be done to increase child contact. Unfortunately in the past this has led to weeks, months, even years of not seeing each other.

Having access to grandparents can drastically improve stability in a child's life and denying all parties that relationship can do more harm than good in the long run.
