Taking care of the children during Summer holidays can be a problem for parents. Stray FM has been finding out how the Yorkshire Nanny Company can help.

Sports and holiday camps can help, but strict pick-up and drop-off times can make it tricky.

Taking annual leave is also a simple option, but taking six or more weeks off in a row will rarely go down well with employers.

And then there's the casual babysitters, but how trained are they should anything happen?

So how can the Yorkshire Nanny Company help parents?

The Yorkshire Nanny Company links up professionally trained nannies with local families who are in need of a little extra help.

And with first aid training, good references and DBS checks (previously called CRB checks) compulsory for all nannies, parents are reassured that their children will be well-looked after.

Whether you have one child or six, newborn babies or teenagers, there are no number or age limits, and parents are able to read CV's and meet potential Nannies beforehand.

From days at home or in the garden, to big days out with friends, the Yorkshire Nanny Company can be as relaxed or as excited as required.

Beth Parsons talked to Lyndsey Brown from the Yorkshire Nanny Company along with Ellie,  on Stray FM's Family Show. Listen below to find out more about how  it's helping local families.

Local families from Yorkshire review the Yorkshire Nanny Company

“From the moment I called Lyndsey she filled me with so much confidence that she would find a nanny to fit my awkward requirement! Lyndsey completed the task and more and our nanny is a perfect fit for our family. All the extra support given with checks and contract help has been such a huge help to me. I would not hesitate in recommending the Yorkshire Nanny Company” Ellie, Thirsk (Apr 2018)
