The final stop of the End of Term Tour!

Nick and Will with the pupils of Roecliffe School

The End of Term Tour with Specsavers came to an end this morning with Nick Hancock and the team at Roecliffe Primary School.

Every morning this week Nick Hancock has taken his breakfast show on tour around Harrogate, Craven & Wharfedale to celebrate the final week of the school year.

And for the last stop of the tour we were in the village of Roecliffe near Boroughbridge, at Roecliffe Primary School.

It was the final day of something else today too, with Mrs Dalton spending her last day as Head of Roecliffe School before jetting off to an exotic new job in Dubai!

School News

It seems there's plenty of fun happening at Roecliffe.

The £1000 Minute

Normally at ten past eight we have the One Thousand Pound Minute with Yorkshire Loft Ladders, but this morning it was time for something a little different!

Two of the teachers at Roecliffe are huge Harry Potter fans so we set them up with a quiz not suitable for any old muggle. Could they beat pupils Dulcie and Fleur?

The Big Race - Stockeld Park Summer Adventure Tickets

For the final day of the tour we had to have one final Dinosaur Derby thanks to Specsavers. ]

And as it was a final day for Mrs Dalton, we could miss out on the chance to get her in the dinosaur costume. Could she win tickets to the Stockeld Park Summer Adventure for her pupils?

Relieve the tour

And that's it. Thank you to all of the schools that have made this week so much fun. Same again next year? Maybe!
