Personal trainer, nutritional expert and pre and post natal specialist, Sarah from Yor Fitness has been helping women near Ripon achieve their goals. 

As a Mum of three, Sarah Biker, the owner of of Yor Fitness is no stranger to juggling family life, work commitments and a social life with finding time to keep fit. 

With a large focus on pregnancy, mum-bods, brides-to-be and runners, Yor Fitness is allowing people in Ripon and surrounding areas to make the most of personalised fitness plans, nutritional advice and training sessions.

Just 5 minutes from the A1,  training takes place in either the beautifully renovated private gym or outdoors in Kirklington, near Ripon, removing any sense of self consciousness or unwanted gym membership bills. 

Metabolic conditioning: What is it?

As Sarah from Yor Fitness explains "I specialise in metabolic conditioning which is all about weight loss training. Women love it... it's a little bit like HIIT [high intensity interval training], basically it's all about burning calories after the work out for the next 24 to 48 hours... Very different to going for a jog which will cause you to burn calories for about 1 hour post-workout... an hour run versus an hour of training with me? It's a win-win, you're going to burn a lot more."

Mum of two, Ali, has been working with Yor Fitness for the past year following an injury she sustained. The injury had made her nervous along with bad experiences of previous personal trainers, but when friends in the local area recommended Sarah at Yor Fitness she gave it a go and has been training with her ever since. 

Ali says "I booked in a session and I haven't ever stopped coming. I come every week bar a couple of weeks when I'm on holiday. It's a bit of therapy, and a bit of a beasty work out, and we've become really good friends."
