Two of Skipton's favourite bars owned by a mother and daughter team couldn't be more different. 

Lorraine and Aimee Forshaw own and run two bars in Skipton - VSQ Gin and More and Sound Bar, and whilst they are both very different indeed, there's no harm in a little research trip to check them both out is there?

Located on Victoria Square, seconds from Skipton high street, VSQ Gin and More has over 200 types of gin and comes with bartenders brimming with recommendations. Whilst there's no shortage of beer, wine, rum and everything in between, it's the modern-day gin craze that has made this venue a frequent pit stop for people Skipton.

Sophisticated food platters and bucks fizz breakfasts before a day at the races are both popular ways to while away lazy afternoons for VSQ Gin and More customers.

Rough and ready for action, the music centred Sound Bar on Swadford Street in Skipton is focused on good music and good times. With a human juke box and a large beer selection, owner Lorraine describes the venue as a "youth club for grown ups".
