The 'Search for Eliza' is over and the Harrogate Operatic Players are ready for their 2019 show, My Fair Lady this June.

  • My Fair Lady is on the 19th - 22nd June 2019 at Harrogate Theatre.
  • The classic score features “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “On the Street Where You Live.”
  • Nina Logue stars as Eliza Dolittle.

The most beloved musical of all time, Lerner & Loewe’s MY FAIR LADY is brought to the Harrogate Theatre in a brilliant new production from Harrogate Operatic Players, the company that brought you Sister Act, Annie, Betty Blue Eyes and Top Hat!

Directed by Michael Kirkby with musical director James Greatorex, the cast of My Fair Lady, led by Nina Longue as Eliza and Mark Sowden as Professor Higgins, tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady.” But who is really being transformed?

The classic score features “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “On the Street Where You Live.” The original 1956 production won six Tony Awards including Best Musical and was hailed by The New York Times as “one of the best musicals of the century.”

To celebrate this great musically coming to Harrogate Theatre in June, Nick Hancock at Breakfast is giving away tickets all week. (Week commencing 25th March.)
