"It's a boy!": Prince Harry and Meghan become parents

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have welcome their first baby and it is a boy!

Prince Harry and Meghan shared the news on their Instagram account.

The post on @sussex royal is simply a plain blue background with the words: "It's a boy".

The new addition to the Royal family was born at 5.26am on Monday morning, weighing 7lbs 3oz.

The couple and their new arrival are believed to be at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

In an interview with Sky News, a beaming Prince Harry said he was excited to make the announcement.

Speculation is now growing n what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will name their baby.

However we might have to wait a little while, we've been told not to expect to see either of them for another day or two.
