Ahead of May half term 2019, the local parenting advice group Mumbler recommend their top family suggestions. 

  • North and West Yorkshire schools - week commencing Monday 27th May 2019
  • Plus it's May Bank Holiday weekend 25 - 28th May 2019

Helping local families within the community, Mumbler groups in the Stray FM area operate in HarrogateWharfedale & CravenRipon & Nidderdale and North Leeds.

And this dedicated group of local parent bloggers, known collectively as Mumbler, have been researching some of the best attractions and holiday camps across Yorkshire.

Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal

It's time to discover the great outdoors with your little explorers for May half term!

With scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, and even pond dipping, the National Trusts Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal is being recommended by Mumbler.

Mother Shipton's Cave

The petrifying well of Mother Shipton's in Knaresborough has bee3n taken over by unicorns and dinosaurs for May half term and Mumbler have it on the to-do list!

Enjoy unicorn magic, search for dinosaur footprints and follow the adventure trail... who knows what you might find. 

Great British Food Festival

On for the bank holiday weekend 25 - 28th May 2019, the Great British Food Festival returns to Harewood House.

New flavours, a beautiful venue, top chef demos and the ever popular Men vs Food challenge is all great to watch whether you're a child or grown-up. 

Stockeld Park - Jurassic Week

Dinosaurs have also arrived at Stockeld Park near Wetherby and Spofforth, and Mumbler know you're going to have a roar-some time!
