WATCH: Skipton school recreates Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now'

'Don't Stop Us Now', sing students from Skipton Academy

  • A school in Skipton is hoping a new music video - based on Queen - will illustrate how far it's come since being in special measures.
  • Teachers, staff and students at Skipton Academy have produced 'Don't Stop Us Now'.
  • It's been created to show people how much has changed since Ofsted inspectors rated the school inadequate.

     

A school in Skipton has created it's own version of a famous Queen song to illustrate how far it's come since being in special measures.

Skipton Academy has put its own spin on the hit-song 'Don't Stop Me Now'.

Teachers, staff and students produced 'Don't Stop Us Now' which highlights what they've done to improve the school.

Last year, they created a homage to The Greatest Showman - which went viral - being viewed over 17,000 times.

That and this year's video was to challenge the reputation of the school while illustrating what has been done to turn things around since Ofsted inspectors rated the school inadequate.

It's hoped 'Don't Stop Us Now' will inspire current students and attract news ones to Skipton Academy.
