Every year, Fostering North Yorkshire looks after around 340 children at any one time, in fostering placements across the county. They range from babies to teenagers, come from many backgrounds and have various needs, but they have one thing in common - they are all looking for a caring family to help them feel safe, secure and happy.

Stray FM has put together an exclusive four part documentary examining every aspect of Fostering meeting the carers, the families, the young people and those from North Yorkshire County Council who keep the system running.

Episode 1 - "Could You Foster?"

Episode 2 - "Looking After Disabled Children Through Short Break Fostering"

Episode 3 - "Fostering Teenagers: There's No Wrong Door"

Episode 4 - "Providing a Family Life - The Success of Fostering"
