Getting an oxo cube out in a michellin starred kitchen is a sin. You wouldn't be a professional chef for long after that. Equally though, if you run a kitchen, setting a member of the team aside for hours on end to prepare the perfect stock isn't exactly economical and is unlikely to have exactly the same results every time.

True Foods is based in Ripon and supplies a huge number of chefs, restaurants and hotels around the UK and the world with top quality products including stocks. Celebrity chefs you've definitely heard of (Gordon Ramsay for example?) has worked with the team and these products and trusts True Foods to get it spot on.

But it's not only stocks, hitting headlines recently. The Chef's Table is an unusual concept which allows a group of six diners to experience a seven course menu of exquisite food, drink and culinary demonstrations in unforgettable surroundings not far from Ripon in Melmerby. As you can see from the review below... it's going down a storm. So much so in fact, they are now fully booked for the next six months. Be prepared to hear more about this in the coming months...

Beth Parsons from Stray FM's Food and Drink Show talked to Aled Williams from True Foods about what happens in Ripon, where the world famous products go, and how he go to where he is today.
