Baked sweetcorn fritters with mango oriental slaw, lemongrass chicken with shitake mushrooms and ginger noodle broth, pumpkin and aubergine Thai green curry, and mango sticky rice with caramelised pineapple and matcha pancakes... Yes please!

It's official, you no longer need to board a 14 hour flight to Bangkok to experience some seriously good Thai food. On 26th, 27th and 28th October 2017 Filmore and Union is hosting a special Thai event at the Wetherby, Skipton and Ilkley branches which will allow you to try foodie combinations in an originally oriental style. And if you didn't already know it, you'd never guess that almost the entire menu is gluten and dairy free. What's more... mention the Stray FM Food and Drink Show and you'll get a free glass of wine!

Filmore and Union begun in Wetherby originally, but now has a huge range or restaurants, cafes and take-outs across the country including Harrogate, Skipton and Ilkley. Beth Parsons talked to Adele and Annabelle about the history of Filmore and Union as well as the upcoming special Thai evenings.

More food and drink stories across Harrogate, Craven and Wharfedale.
