Harrogate's Damn Yankee gets ready to open

Damn Yankee is about to open its doors once again to the public.

It's based in Harrogate Town Centre on Station Parade. 

Damn Yankee closed down back in July this year. 

The independent restaurant had run for 45 years before its sudden summer closure. 

Alex and Anthony are now the new owners of Harrogate’s original all-American restaurant.

They've been looking forward to unveiling their refurbished diner.

Alex and Anthony have incooporated the old and new. 

They've kept some Damn Yankee traditions in their menu, but have added extra twists and turns, as well as gluten-free options. 

They're also supplying customers with the option to indulge in a Mama Doreen's Emporium cake!

The restaurant is set to open its doors at 5pm today. 

Shane Robinson wanted us to pass on a message for the new owners: "I want to wish you both every success in your new adventure, and hope you make it a really good, family business."
