Whether you eat a vegan diet all year round, or are give a plant-based diet a go for Veganuary, local branches of Filmore and Union in Harrogate, Wetherby, Ilkley and Skipton are hosting some special evenings. 

Last year, 97% of people who took part in Veganuary said they felt healthier after taking part, and whilst 67% said they'd be continuing to eat a vegan diet in the future, even those who didn't said they would be significantly cutting down their meat consumption. 

Local healthy, wholesome and delicious food venue Filmore and Union are celebrating the cause with three Vegan nights on 25th, 26th and 27th January 2018 - and don't worry, even as a meat-eater you're sure to still enjoy a big plate of grub!

So what's on the menu...


  • Sunblushed tomatoes & olive baklava with parsley salsa & tahini dressing
  • Indian spiced pancake with Bombay potatoes, pickled cauliflower, nigella seeds & curried soya yoghurt (GF)
  • Coconut milk corn chowder with blackened corn & Aleppo oil (GF)


  • Tofu Rendang curry with edamame, sweet potato, pak choi, toasted peanuts & coconut sticky rice (GF)
  • Roasted butternut squash gnocchi, kale and hempseed pesto, sage & tahini dressing
  • Rainbow carrot medley with Truffle celeriac cake, kumquat marmalade & nutritional yeast gravy (GF)


  • Dessert Sharing Board: Chocolate orange mousse, espresso cheesecake, salted caramel sauce, peanut brittle (GF)
